Also known as creeping dogwood, this lovely little flower turns into the bright red edible bunch berry. This is one of the flowers I remember the most from my childhood. it’s low to the ground and it’s bright white petals with the almost black center stand out on forest floors across the state of Alaska. A cheerful little flower that is beautiful from spring through fall.
