Course 1: Sunday, November 29th
Watercolor Basics: Supply limit 20 kits
This course will be all about mixing watercolor colors, controlling water, and learning different terminology used when working with watercolor. Kits will be provided as needed, if you have your own supplies you may also sign up for this course! A few household supplies will also be handy to have, see lists below. Application deadline: 11/20/2020
Supplies Provided:
20 - 6"x9" Watercolor Paper sheets
1- 1" Goat Hair Hake Brush
1- #6 Round watercolor brush
1- set of 12 watercolors
1- mixing palette
3- pipettes
Recommended House hold items:
A Small container for water to rinse brushes- Please use something you do not intend to hold food in, some materials in paint aren't safe to consume
Iodine free salt (kosher salt, table salt, or Himalayan salt will do)
Paper towels
Course 2: Sunday, December 6th
Creating Textures and Effects with Watercolor: Supply limit 10
This course will be all about creating textures using both brushes and other household items.
Participants should have their own paints and brushes for this class, but paints can be provided if needed!
Application deadline: 11/26/2020

20- 100% Cotton watercolor Paper sheets 6"x9"
1- 1" Goat Hair Hake Brush
3- pipettes
1- Long Handle Bright 10 brush
1- mixing palette
Recommended House hold items:
Papertowels or rag
Cling film or piece of a plastic grocery bag
Iodine free salt
A straw
Hair Dryer
Course 3: Sunday, December 13th
Working with Resist and Watercolor Pouring: Supply Limit 10
This course will be all about using watercolor resist, using watercolor pouring techniques to create backgrounds and layers within a painting. This class will be messy! Application Deadline: 12/4/2020
Participants should have their own paints and brushes for this class, masking tape/or painters tape. A small wooden board or piece of plexiglass is also helpful to tape your paper to. A thick piece of card board will also work like from a shoe box will also work!
Supplies Provided:
15- 100% Cotton watercolor Paper sheets 6"x9"
1- 1" Goat Hair Hake Brush
3- pipettes
1- mixing palette
4- 2 ounce cups
4- pipets
1- 1 ounce Masquepen watercolor resist (if you have your own resist at home let me know!)
Recommended House hold items:
Paper Towels or rags
Hair dryer
Masking tape/painters tape
Board bigger than your paper
